On an outing with Nonna one day, Victoria notices an injured woman being pursued by a group of ruffians and comes to her rescue. Much to her surprise, however, the woman turns out to be an agent from the Third Order who has been tasked with serving as Princess Delphine’s body double for an upcoming festival. With the agent’s wounds rendering her unfit for duty, Victoria steps up to the plate and volunteers to serve in her place instead, reentering the world of clandestine operations. Meanwhile, Jeffrey is summoned to Ashbury’s border with Subartu to help prevent a conflict over the recently discovered gold mine from escalating into war, and Nonna gets caught up in Victoria’s mission through a series of coincidences!
