2009 Knetbooks is Born

The founders of Knetbooks launched the website with the understanding that renting textbooks could save college students lots of money. With low prices and a straightforward renting process, Knetbooks quickly became a primary source for affordable textbook rentals.

2011 Knetbooks is Bought

The success of Knetbooks was so apparent that a major textbook retailer purchased the company. Under new management, the number of textbook rentals available expanded, shipping timeframes improved and a dedicated customer support team was added.

Today Knetbooks Has Saved 427,632 Students $48,474,915

College is expensive and helping college students save money is at the core of the Knetbooks business model. Since 2009, the company has stayed true to their promise of making textbook rentals affordable in order to help students save hundreds of dollars each semester.

If you need to return your item for a refund or return your rental before the due date, you can print a pre-addressed label for either scenario in the Manage Rentals/Returns portion of your account.
