When the animals take this strange object to Owl, he declares that it’s a book, opens it—and begins to read. 

Enchanted by Owl’s story, the animals search the nearby town for more discarded books. 

But as their collection grows, they quickly realize they need a place to enjoy them together.

Luca Tortolini is an author, scriptwriter, and teacher. He lives in Macerata in central Italy. His books have been translated into various languages, and he has won the Andersen Prize and a Bologna Ragazzi Award.

Stefano Martinuz was born in Bresica, Italy. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he graduated with honors. He now works as a children’s book illustrator, visual development artist, comic book colourist, and concept artist for various companies and animation studios.
