Sonia y Juan son dos físicos recién casados que acuden a las modernas instalaciones de telescopios del Roque de los Muchachos, en la isla canaria de La Palma, para realizar una importante investigación.

Soon Sonia finds herself in an unsettling situation when her husband starts talking in his sleep with a voice completely different from his own. As the days pass, that personality, who calls himself Robert, takes over Juan, and Sonia starts to feel attracted to him.
