Using play as a teaching tool in children from birth to age eight is extremely effective in promoting their social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development. By reviewing current research in this publication, readers will learn how they can initiate a play-based education program for infants and toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten children and primary-age children.
