Francine D. Blau is Frances Perkins Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations and Labor Economics at Cornell University. She is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Labor Economics and the Journal of Labor Research. Professor Blau is the author of Equal Pay in the Office and coauthor of At Home and Abroad: U.S. Labor Market Performance in International Perspective, which won the 2002 Richard A. Lester Award.

The late Marianne A. Ferber was Professor Emerita of Economics and Women's Studies at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She was editor of Women in the Labor Market and coeditor of Work and Family, Beyond Economic Man, Academic Couples, Nonstandard Work, and Feminist Economics Today. Professor Ferber also served for many years on the editorial boards of Feminist Economics and Review of Social Economy.

Anne E. Winkler is Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics and Professor of Public Policy Administration at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Professor Winkler's work has appeared in Journal of Human Resources, Monthly Labor Review, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and Management Science. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Social Science Quarterly and Journal of Labor Research.
