The Dover Anthology of American Literature, Volume III From 1923 to the Present

The third volume of the Dover series covers the period from the 1920s to today. Selections include the fiction of James Baldwin, Faulkner, Hemingway, Vonnegut, Welty, Kerkouac, and Carver; dramas by O'Neill, Williams, and August Wilson; the poetry of Cummings, Ginsberg, Roethke, and Richard Wilbur; and numerous other works, including nonfiction.

Bob Blaisdell is Professor of English at the City University of New York's Kingsborough Community College and the editor of more than 20 Dover literature and poetry collections. His most recent Dover books include Civil War Letters: From Home, Camp and Battlefield; Great Speeches by Mark Twain; Essays on Teaching; and Humorous American Short Stories.
