Jose Rivera's other plays include The House of Ramon Iglesia, Maricela de la Luz Lights the World, Marisol, Cloud Tectonics and Each Day Dies with Sleep (the last three published as Marisol and Other Plays, TCG). Rivera studied with Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez at the Sundance Institute. He has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including two OBIE Awards, a Fulbright Arts Fellowship and grants from the NEA and the Rockefeller Foundation. In 2003, his first feature film will be released: The Motorcycle Diaries, directed by Walter Salles (Central Station) and featuring Gael Garcia Bernal (Y Tu Mama Tambien)
