Keith Allan is Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at Monash University. His books include Linguistic Meaning (two volumes, Routledge 1986), Natural Language Semantics (Blackwell, 2001), and The Western Classical Tradition in Linguistics, Second edition (Equinox, 2010).
