Carol Rowan is a successful and innovative crafter with an eye for quirky design. Since starting needlefelting, Carol’s whimsical creations have taken on a life of their own. She now works to commission, carefully crafting each caricature to be immediately identifiable.

Carol Rowan has always enjoyed making things with her hands. She would buy old scraps of lace, remnants of silk, paint flowers on them, and then lay them all out and make them up into a patchwork.  From making hats, to creating toys, or sewing wedding dresses, there is not much that Carol hasn’t turned her crafting skill to.  Carol first got into Felting some years ago when she was given some sheep’s wool, felting needles, a felting pad and a book.  These figures have taken on a life of their own and have been sent all over the world. his is Carol’s second book after ‘I Felt a Bit Funny’.
