Dominic Tierney is a professor of Political Science at Swarthmore College. He is also a fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He is a coauthor of Failing to Win: Perceptions of Victory and Defeat in International Politics and FDR and the Spanish Civil War: Neutrality and Commitment in the Struggle that Divided America (both published by academic presses). Tierney received a Ph.D. in International Relations from Oxford University.
