Howard Gardner is the John H. and Elisabeth A. Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship in 1981, the Prince of Asturias Prize in Social Science in 2011, and twenty-nine honorary degrees, he is the author of more than twenty books. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
