The print version of CATO offers you and your students another option for exploring the topics covered in the online component. More than 30 lessons cover the four core areas of steering/suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and engine performance as well as all the basic information found in an Introduction to Automotive course, including an industry overview, safety, shop orientation, and basic technician skills. Additional lessons are included on basic engine operation, maintenance and service information, and hybrid vehicles. Both electronic and print versions are available. Future CATO modules covering engine repair, automatic transmissions, manual transmissions and heating/AC will follow the release of the four core areas.
