The Editor of Guilford's Treatment Manuals for Practitioners Series, Dr. Barlow's awards include the Distinguished Scientist Award from Section III of the Division of Clinical Psychology of the American Psychological Association; the Excellence in Research award from the University at Albany, State University of New York; and a MERIT Award from the National Institute of Mental Health for long-term contributions to the clinical research effort. Extensively involved with numerous professional organizations and journals, he is also a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology and maintains a private practice.
