Margaret "Meg" O'Hair is a mom to two kids, a kindergarten teacher, and an award-winning writer. She likes to be on the water -- whether it’s on boats, kayaks, or paddleboards -- with her family and their two Portuguese Water Dogs, Sailor and Surfer. Meg has been inspired to write books about Sofia from the first day they met, including Be-You-Tiful: Love, Sofia, and Ride the Wave: Love, Sofia and Haole the Surf Dog. Sofia Sanchez is a fifth-grade student, actress, model, and self-advocate for Down syndrome. Sofia loves people, and she first went viral for her video that told the world "Down syndrome is not scary… it’s exciting!" When she’s not speaking up and following her dreams, Sofia loves to sing, do ballet, eat, and give hugs!
