When Wallace was brought to Nikki’s animal rescue as a kitten, she knew right away there was something wrong with his heart. She took him to a special vet who told her Wallace might not live long. Nikki was determined to give the kitten the best life possible -- no matter how long it was.

But as Wallace spent more time with Nikki, he grew stronger. And soon, despite all odds, his health seemed to be getting better! This true story teaches us that sometimes love and support are the key to healing.

This story is perfect for middle-grade readers and comes with an eight-page full-color photo insert!
