This book will capture the sweeping, fundamental trends that are changing the world faster than at any time in human history. It will include chapters on about 20 of these "megatrends", each elegantly outlined by Economist contributors in 3,000-4,000-word chapters rich in supporting facts and graphics. They will be grouped in categories ("People", "Life and death", "Economy and business", "Knowledge"). There will be an introduction and a conclusion. The result will be a compelling read as well as a valuable research and reference tool.
