Mr. Gropper regularly participates on panels to discuss professional development strategies at law schools and events organized by various bar associations, and frequently serves as a mentor to law students and law firm associates.

Mr. Gropper is a Legislation Counsel on the staff of the non-partisan Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, assisting Members of both parties in Congress in developing and drafting tax legislation and legislative history with a focus on the area of tax procedure and administration. Previously, Mr. Gropper was a tax partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP where he spent ten years handling tax controversy and planning matters.

Mr. Gropper is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and has a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the George Washington University Law School, a Master of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors, from the University of Florida.
