Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina: A Research and Information Guide is an annotated bibliography on the life and music of Palestrina, the Italian composer who was influential in sixteenth century contrapuntal technique and Renaissance church music. It includes a chronology and biographical outline, sources on printed music, as well as contemporary arrangements of Palestrina s music, a discography, and a completely new section on electronic resources for research on Palestrina. It has been updated to include forthcoming publications and a survey of new publications since 2000.
