The book covers the official training standards for NQTs and the Induction Standards in a way that will enable students to connect what is said with their obligations to demonstrate achievement against national performance criteria. And yet, the book will also openly challenge students to acknowledge the future of their specialist subject and of their professional identity and empower them with the expertise they bring to teaching.
