Summary

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A THRILLER THAT FOOLS YOU UNTIL THE LAST PAGE.

There are novels impossible to put down even from reading just the first page. Stories that throw suspense for a loop and make the reader question everything each time a chapter ends. In this absolutely original and addictive thriller, Mikel Santiago breaks the limits of psychological intrigue with a story that explores the fragile borders between memory and amnesia, truth and lies.

In the first scene, the protagonist wakes up in an abandoned warehouse next to the dead body of an unknown man, and a bloody stone. When he runs away, he decides to try to reconstruct the facts himself. However, he has a problem: he doesn't remember anything that happened in the last forty-eight hours. And the little that he does know, is better if he keeps it to himself.

This is how this thriller begins which takes us to a coastal town in the Basque Country, amid winding roads on the edge of cliffs and houses with cracked walls due to stormy nights: a small community where it seems that nobody keeps secrets from anyone, . . . or maybe they do.
