Atravesar el desierto, pasar meses en una prisión, llevar a cabo una peligrosa travesía marina, contemplar un mar de estrellas, vivir en un campo de refugiados, conocer grandes peligros y grandes personas... Todo esto es lo que Ibrahim, que cursa segundo de la ESO en un instituto de Móstoles, explicará a sus compañeros mientras trabajan en un proyecto con ayuda de María, una profesora que cree mucho en sus alumnos. A través de sus ojos viviremos ese viaje de más de cuatro mil kilómetros desde su hogar en Sudán hasta las afueras de Madrid, que él y su familia tuvieron que hacer huyendo de una de esas guerras injustas que asolan constantemente el mundo.
