Summary

After lengthy research, scientists successfully synthesized intestinal absorption inhibitors: the IAI. At last, mankind can free itself from the yoke of hunger repression to avoid overweight and its collateral damage. All it takes is one pill: whoever takes it can eat whatever he or she wants without any change in body weight. At that moment, few are aware of the radical social transformation that is about to take place: the revolution of hunger, in which half of humanity will be trapped in the vice of gluttony. A young man of twenty-six, Jan Roger, manages to lead a movement to reject the IAI. He is soon declared a dissident and has to make a spectacular escape to execute an ingenious plan to give hope to a creative minority of counter-revolutionaries.
