Summary

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Short stories from one of the most prestigious Argentinian writers of the moment, The Hispanic American Award Gabriel García Márquez 2018.

This edition gathers, in the classic collection of Alfaguara accounts, all of the short stories published until today by the consecrated Argentinian writer and movie producer Edgardo Cozarinsky, originally included in the books Odessa's Girlfriend, Three Borders, Orphans, Scattered Stories, and in the recent work After the Last Drink Let's Go.

In them, Cozarinsky addresses, with a defined style and delicate handling of the ellipsis, themes like existential identity and the unfaithfulness of memories. With a highly individualistic stamp, his work combines biography and creation, intimate meditation and fantasy.

With a prologue by Argentinian author and literary critic Alan Pauls, this publication coincides with the author receiving the Hispanic American Award Gabriel García Márquez 2018, the most prominent prize in Latin America for this genre.
