Zaza’s animal friends aren’t feeling well today. What do they need? A visit from Dr. Zaza!

A perfect story to read on a sick day, or any day! For toddlers ages 24 months and up, with a focus on the child's skills.

At Clavis, our focus is on what’s best for children. We believe that books play an important role in each new phase in life. Our toddler books are tailored for every stage from 0 to 3 and focus on the five most important themes in their life: daily life, skills, emotions, the world, and language development. The age range and theme of every book in our toddler series can be found on the back cover in the form of a colored train.

Mylo Freeman was born in The Hague, The Netherlands, from Dutch/American parents. She attended art school for five years, majoring in painting, and then moved to New York. Mylo lived and worked there for a few years and was part of a group exhibition at The Drawing Center Gallery in New York. But eventually homesickness brought her back to Amsterdam. Around this time she started her musical career, which resulted in a CD album. However, the stage did not prove to be artistically satisfying, so she returned to the visual arts. Mylo started working for magazines and commercial advertising. After the birth of her son David (1994), she started to make drawings for children. David became the main inspiration for all Mylo’s books to come. Her first published book was Potty! in 1997. This book also won her the Kiekeboekprijs in 1998, a prize given out by Dutch national libraries for best toddler book of the year. Mylo currently lives in Amsterdam with her husband and three children.
