Bear loves to plan ahead. So when it starts to rain one day, she helps her friends Squirrel, Hedgehog, Mouse, and Rabbit prepare their homes for the coming storm. But then the river overflows its banks, and water floods the forest--and ruins everyone's homes! Can Bear's large, sturdy boat help the friends make it to safety?

Owen Hart takes a walk in the woods with his dog, Bradford, whenever he's in need of a new idea. He lives directly above a bookshop and is sure that all the wonderful stories below seep into his dreams at night.

Caroline Pedler illustrated her first children's book in 1999, and has lost count of how many she has illustrated since! With an MA in Illustration-Authorial Practice under her belt, she always has something creative going on. Caroline lives in a lovely village in Cornwall, where she enjoys walking her dog Bobo, meeting up with friends, and drinking copious amounts of Lady Grey tea.
