Leona M. Anderson is both a professor and department head at the University of Regina, Department of Religious Studies. Her research interests primarily focus on Eastern religion. In addition to co-editing Women and Religious Traditions, she has published extensively on Indian topics including Sanskrit literature, popular religion, ritual, and Hindu art.

Pamela Dickey Young is a professor at Queen's University and the former department head of Religious Studies. In previous years she has acted as editor-in-chief of Studies in Religion/Sciences Religieuses and has published a book on feminist theology in addition to co-editing Women and Religious Traditions.
