The Lab Manual exercises provide listening practice that progresses from comprehension only to production, based on what students hear. The exercises stress authentic speech and real-life tasks. Lab Manual recordings feature native speakers of French. The Video Manual complements the listening practice provided in the textbook using additional video clips and expanded activities on DVD or via MyFrenchLabâ„¢. The SAM is also available in an electronic format via MyFrenchLabâ„¢, which includes all audio and video files and provides immediate correction for most activities.
