Abbas Milani is an Iranian-American scholar an author. He is the director of the Iranian Studies Program at Stanford University. He is also a research fellow and codirector of the Iran Democracy Project at the Hoover Institution. He has published articles in The New York Times, the New Republic, and The Well Street Journal. His previous works have appeared in Persian, French, Germany, Polish, and Italian.
