The trafficking of human organs is a rapidly growing crime involving worldwide criminal organizations, medical facilities, and questionable ethics around organ and tissue donations, including poverty-stricken people selling their organs for cash. This edited collection provides perspectives from the fields of criminal justice, business and economics, medicine, ethics, philosophy, and theology. Each section presents a brief annotated summary of the research papers provided to assist readers in identifying those that might be of particular interest to them. A series of discussion questions at the end of each chapter can be used as a basis of classroom interaction between students and professors.
