Human Form Human Function is an introductory anatomy and physiology textbook that will take the student on a tour of discovery through the human body. Two principles guide its construction. First, form (anatomy) and function (physiology) are inseparable. Therefore, the authors integrate form and function in our exploration. Second, normal form and function are most easily understood when contrasted with abnormalities caused by disease or injury. Therefore, the narrative is laced with clinical content and features that will deepen student comprehension of the integrated workings of the body in its healthy state.
