Margot Badran is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Muslim Christian Understanding, Georgetown University, US. She is also currently a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington, D.C. She has written several works on Feminism in Islam, including Feminists, Islam and Nation: Gender and the Making of Modern Egypt.
