Diaacute;logos: hacia una comunidad global,is a one-semester intermediate level Spanish textbook designed to give students the opportunity to learn more about the world and their place in it. Diaacute;logosconsists of five chapters crafted to encourage the growth of an awareness of global issues, highlighting our interconnectedness to each other in spite of distance and cultural differences. InDiaacute;logos, grammar and vocabulary are presented as aids to comprehension and communication. Meaning-based activities challenge students to share, organize, and negotiate information in the context of chapter themes that require them to think critically about local and global issues.
