Jonathan Tummons has worked in higher education since 1995, when he first began teaching at the University of Leeds. He took up a post as senior lecturer in education at the University of Teeside after six years as a lecturer in teacher education in the FE sector. As a consultant, he has contributed to programmes for schools broadcast by Channel 4. As well as publishing in journals and edited collections, he is the author of Assessing Learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector and Becoming a Professional Tutor in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
