Summary

Connect Business Law® is available with Brown/Sukys 13e. Connect Business Law® is McGraw-Hill’s web-based assignment and assessment platform that connects you and your students to the coursework. Interactive Applications provided for each chapter of the textbook allow instructors to assign application-focused interactive activities, engage students to “do” business law, stimulate critical thinking, and reinforce key concepts. Students apply what they’ve learned and receive immediate feedback. Instructors can customize these activities and monitor student progress. The following 5 types of Interactive Applications were developed for Business Law with UCC Applications based on actual book-specific content.
  • Case Analysis – These exercises have been created to introduce students to a scenario to which students are asked to apply concepts from the text to the issues in the case analysis.
  • Drag and Drop - These fun and interactive drag and drop exercises motivate students to apply concepts within the context of a scenario or case allowing them to think about legal issues.
  • Comprehension Case – These cases are to generate deeper understanding of the core concepts by applying chapter concepts in an open-ended question format. They are the most difficult Interactive Applications in Connect and are the only exercises that are manually graded.
  • Decision Generator – These exercises ask students to apply critical thinking skills and allow students to see the interdependencies of their decisions on a mini case scenario.
  • Video Case – Case study videos include pop-up questions that appear as the video plays, to test concept and/or terminology comprehension.
