William V. Giannobile is a William K. & Mary Anne Najjar Endowed Professor of Dentistry and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He is also the Director of the Michigan Center for Oral Health Research and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Periodontology.

Robert J. Genco is a State University of New York Distinguished Professor of Oral Biology, and Microbiology, and Immunology at the University at Buffalo. He is also the Vice Provost and Director of the University at Buffalo Office of Science, Technology Transfer and Economic Outreach, and Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the Journal of Periodontology.

Brian A. Burt is Professor Emeritus, Department of Epidemiology, and formerly the Director, Program in Dental Public Health, School of Public Health; and Professor Emeritus, School of Dentistry, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. He was editor of the journal Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology from 1997 to 2007.
