Michael A. Caldero is a former police officer and has presented seminars on the subject of police ethics to police commanders across the United States; he teaches in the Department of Administration of Criminal Justice at Bellevue College. John P. Crank is Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. The author of five books, he received the Outstanding Book Award from the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences for Imagining Justice (Anderson Publishing, 2002).
